A controversial plan to refreeze the Arctic is seeing promising results. But scientists warn of big risks

They have been successful on 44,000 square feet which is just over a third of a hectare, then 430,000 Square feet or 4 hectares. Have they got no idea of the scale of what they're trying to address?

I'm not sure how something like that could scale up either, plus the energy required in such a remote place would prove difficult.
