It's not the least charm of a theory that it is refutable. The hundred-times-refuted theory of "free will" owes its persistence to this charm alone; some one is always appearing who feels himself strong enough to refute it - Friedrich Nietzsche

in order to be old & wise, you must first be young & stupid. (I'm still working on that.)

Glen Campbell - Rhinestone Cowboy

When I worked at the Tait factory in Manchester Street by the railway station in the 70's sometimes the whole factory of about 150 staff would sing this song in unison when it came on the radio.

When I worked at Spectrum Associates in the middle 80's the factory staff used to sing this song whenever it came over the radio, a moving experience.
A really wonderful, spiritual and mystical song.

Annie Lennox - "Why?" Wonderful song.
I used to play this at the Hillsborough Tavern In Heathcote Valley when it existed before the earthquakes and noise complaints.
It used to get switched off by turning off the Jukebox by the bare staff, too real and true for a lot of people I suppose.
