The inspiration for that quote came from the news that vote returns were slow and few, predicting a very low turn out, and I was reminded of the way low voter engagement is a symptom of a declining democracy. And we don't want that.

As for IQs I have been so excited by the regular appearance of children who are using their genius level - 160 and above - IQs out there in the world to do amazing things.
